What is a quonset hut?
Quonset Hut
Between 150,000 and 170,000 Quonset huts were manufactured during World War II, and the military sold its surplus huts to the public after the war. Many remain standing throughout the United States as outbuildings, businesses, or even homes, and they are often seen at military museums and other places featuring World War II memorabilia.
The Ceremony
We will be adding photos as we go. The opening of the quonset hut will be facing the creek.You will have the option for your ceremony to take place outdoors or indoors. We also are building a second bridge and walk out over the creek. This will be perfect for photos or incorporating into the ceremony as well.
